Join our Richmond, VA team. SpecialtyCare has managed this account for over 40 years and have a wonderful relationship with the surgeons and hospitals. This account performs approximately 1200 cases and perform all adult cases except transplants. This is a team of 13 perfusionists and 8 surgeons who work wonderfully together and have a very good team working environment.
We welcome both new graduates and experienced perfusionists for this role!
We currently employ over 490 clinical perfusion associates and take part in over 130,000 surgeries each
year in 44 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. We serve more than 350 hospitals and
assist over 850 surgeons during open heart surgeries and other complex procedures. By participating in
such a large number of operations and by working with world-class surgeons, we are the industry leader
in perfusion.

Become A Clinician With SpecialtyCare
Applicants to our perfusion program must have completed a two-year master’s degree, a post-bachelor
two-year training program, or be board certified. New graduates have two years after hire to achieve board
certification.
We provide support for our perfusionists with the certification exams and continuing education opportunities through CEU-eligible industry events. Our experienced perfusionists enjoy training and mentoring new graduates, and we ensure that all of our clinicians remain current through regular clinical and non-clinical competency evaluations.
